• That Bow Basin municipalities:
    • develop performance management systems (systematic evaluation of practices) to manage landscapes and evaluate progress.
    • develop and or review polices and bylaws to consider: erosion control, limits on landscape fragmentation, limits on development footprint, management of public access to natural areas, impact of gravel extraction in alluvial areas, storm drainage.
    • incorporate best management practices (non regulatory techniques to achieve outcomes) and performance management into design of residential and commercial developments.
    • coordinate land use planning decisions and consider wetland complexes and riparian lands.

• That planning and education initiatives by watershed stewardship groups continue and are supported by government.

• That Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) users and government agencies discuss trail systems and impacts on water bodies. Develop more formalized trail systems within the Ghost and McLean areas with proper water crossings, staging and camping facilities.

• That alliances among land trusts are created.

• That the provincial government continue efforts to reduce erosion from trails, recreation sites and other activities.

• That the Bow Basin Council, municipalities, governments and other agencies maintain knowledge and provide education on: runoff; erosion; septic sludge; best management practices; Low Impact Development.
